1.- Why dreampop?

Because I like what you are doing! Giving indie artists a platform is always something I will support.

2.- How did you meet (if there are several) and if you are a soloist: How did you start your creative solo process?

I started writing music at a very young age, I first started out playing guitar in elementary school, and then I gradually got more and more in to the indie and electronic scene. I was in a couple bands here and there that just didn’t work out, so during the Pandemic I started really working solo.

3.- Where do you frequently create (your) music in which space (s)? And how do you invest your (their) times in creation?

I make all of my music at home. I have a little home studio, although I really don’t need much haha. Give me a laptop and a microphone and I can come up with something. I spend a lot of time making sure the bass and the drums sound right, and then the lyrics have to be good. I take my own photos and program my own stage lighting too, so those are all things that I start thinking about during the song writing process. I like to write songs with the end product in mind.

4.- Do you (s) already have live concerts? What are the most important and where did they go?

Yes! I play a lot of shows in Florida! I’m hoping to do an east coast tour soon, but that’s still in the works.

5.- What do you think is the ep or hit song of your band and why?

I think my newest song, Sugar, is the best so far. I’m really proud of it. Of course it isn’t perfect, as no musician ever thinks their music is perfect haha but I definitely think that it’s the best work that I have done so far. The lyrics are the most honest and straightforward that I have ever written, and the instrumental just hits really well. I’m really excited for this one to come out!

6.- What references did you take to create your music?

My influences come from all over the place, but some of my favorite artists are Feu! Chatterton, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, Alphaville and Amy Winehouse.

7.- Any anecdote in a band or soloists live performance or show

I’ve played some pretty weird shows. In one of my old bands, I played a show in New Orleans at this really run down coffee shop and we literally made $1. The shows I’ve been playing since I’ve gone solo have been much better though haha.

8.- What do you enjoy most of your music?

I love playing live. I love seeing how people respond to my music in real time, I love the energy of the crowd and being able to run around the stage, for me that’s always been the best part.

9.- What do you think about the creation of the Dream Dream pop platform? Do you think (s) that this space is necessary?

I think it’s really cool what you’re doing! Giving fans an insight in to an artist’s is immensely valuable and unique.

10.- A message that you want (want) to deliver or free words from the band to the readers

Be yourself, be unapologetic, and go for what you want.
