Infected By Light is a new dream pop project founded by Christian Hedderich and
Katharina Schwindack. The idea came up during a cozy bar visit in 2021.
Making music plays a major role for Christian and Katharina since childhood. Playing an instrument and singing in a choir was mandatory in the Schwindack family. Kati tried different instruments throughout the years and finally lost her heart to the piano. At the age of 19 she then started writing songs.
After hearing the unplugged songs of Nirvana, Christian decided to buy his first guitar. At this point he discovered his greatest passion in making music. He already played in six
different band projects and is also currently part of a rock band.
Chris and Kati met during their time at university. The two friends quickly recognized
that they have a lot in common concerning the taste of music. Both of them especially admire electro pop.
Infected By Light celebrated their debut in the music scene by releasing their first
single “Adrenalin” on the 31st of August. “Adrenalin” is a mixture of melodic guitar
synthesizer and a strong bass- and snare drum. They create a dreamy electronic
beat which is accompanied by the mellow voice of Katharina. The incredible
lightness of the instrumental hides the pretty melancholic lyrics about an unfulfilled
love.
Above the roofs of Halle city performs the dream pop duo covered in blue light and
fog in the music video. The effectful lights are perfectly matching the name
“Infected By Light”. After their first release, the musicians went back to work and
dived in a new creation process for the next song.

Sobre los tejados de la ciudad de Halle actúa el dúo dream pop cubierto de luz azul y
niebla en el video musical. Las luces de efecto hacen juego perfectamente con el nombre.
“Infectados por la luz”. Después de su primer lanzamiento, los músicos volvieron a trabajar y se sumergió en un nuevo proceso de creación para la siguiente canción.
